Friday Foxy Things

Happy Friday everyone! So excited to have a REAL Friday since I have the day off tomorrow, woohoo! I've been crushing hardcore on a whole bunch of stuff lately and since it's also payday, I may have to splurge just a little bit on some more decor for the house. Here is what I'm feeling lately...

I love all the art prints from Oh Gosh Cindy. I still want the Buffy one and the David Mitchell print but I couldn't resist this one from my favorite bad movie ever, The Room. If you haven't seen it... You have to. Trust me.

This shirt is coming to me soon in the mail and I'm going to wear it everyday. 

I'm already feeling the heat here in Vegas and this dress looks perfect to wear in the warmer weather with a sports bra.

+ Here's a great article on why I'm glad Cesar Milan is being investigated for animal cruelty charges. I have never been a supporter of his outdated training techniques.

+ Have you heard the great news? SeaWorld is finally ending it's orca breeding program! This is a great step in the right direction.

+ We finally bought a kitchen table! I love our little pub table from World Market. It was a little too tall for our space, however Johnny has skills and was able to cut the legs and make it shorter. Now it's perfect! Dining room table is next but now we don't have to eat on the couch!

+ Bohemian Bunnie is wearing the most beautiful dress!

+ These are the next plants about to go in my garden. I have a retaining wall along the brick fencing  so I need big plants that can actually be seen PLUS I'm trying to make the backyard look as green and English as I possibly can. These guys are gonna help me so much in attaining that goal.

+ I think these little Easter Egg Bud Vases are a really cute idea on decorating our mantel.

Foxy Things

I know it's not Friday yet but I wanted to do a Foxy Things post early since you know... Christmas is almost here!

As you can see in the photo above (and if you follow me on Instagram) we have a new foster dog! Her name is Iggy, she's an 11 yr old Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix that we pulled from the Rescue Only list due to severe dental disease. She lost all but five teeth yesterday and is currently in recovery mode and hating her cone. As soon as she's feeling better, she will be up for adoption and I expect her to get swooped up pretty quickly even though she's a senior.

Besides our cute little guest, here are the other foxy things I've been feeling lately...

1 // I made this Skillet Chicken w/ Bacon & Wine the other night and it's hands down my new favorite chicken recipe. Even Johnny loved it and we don't usually enjoy chicken like this.
2 // Speaking of spending time in my kitchen, I had my epic Christmas baking day on Sunday and I tried out this Hedgehog Cookie recipe. They turned out so cute but you really need the patience to put on the little noses and eyes!
3 // Remember Wishbone, the little Shih Tzu we found on Thanksgiving? She got adopted to a loving new family!
4 // With all the negativity in the world right now (even in my city, thanks to the lady that plowed into the Strip with her car) stuff like this makes me feel a little better.
5 // New Years Eve is almost here and I need to decide on what to wear... I'm liking this look and need to go shopping asap.
6 // Wouldn't be mad at all if this or this was under my Christmas tree!

Friday Foxy Things

I haven't done one of these in so long but I'm finding so many things as I browse for items for the new house that I can't help but share. Keep in mind that I'm also already decorating for Christmas (never mind that Thanksgiving hasn't happened yet) so some of this awesomeness could make for some great stocking stuffers. It's never too early to get Christmas shopping out of the way!

I am so into muscle tanks with the really deep armholes, I can't get enough of them. It's hitting the hottest part of summer and not only do I look cool wearing them, I feel cool too! There is something about that extra side ventilation... Don't be tacky about it though! I always wear a sports bra or one of those cute bandeau/bra tops underneath.

Some Foxy Things

It seems like this week is flying by! Wednesday already! My camera was suppose to be back from the shop yesterday but apparently I won't be getting it till tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will get done since I have shoots Friday through Sunday. It's also been a bit of a struggle not being able to snap a photo when I instantly get an idea or feel creative. Ugh!

Besides the lack of my camera, here are some things I'm feeling this week!

In exactly a week, I'll get to see my boyfriend! Kris is coming to visit me for a week and I'm excited and slightly nervous, we haven't seen each other in over a month! It's going to be a jam packed trip, there is so much stuff he wants to do before going back to the middle of nowhere Oregon. Hiking, movies, hanging out with our friends, photo shoots, going out to eat. Just a few of the things we have in mind.

The semester ends next week and I'll have the rest of the month off till June when I start summer school courses. Trying to get these last few credits over as soon as possible so I can possibly graduate in the fall instead of next spring.

I love mint and I love studs! These are just some of the items I'm feeling at the moment.
