Cool Colors

Kris and I recently visited Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden @ The Mirage... I hadn't been there since I was a little girl and it was nice to try out my camera at some up close and personal wildlife. I really love the color of this leopard and his contrasting spots. I'll have more from this day visit up soon!

Ever since Katie @ Skunkboy mentioned that she goes to this local place for Lavender Iced Coffee, I've been attempting to make my own. I made a second attempt today to make the lavender coffee syrup and should have the recipe up soon if it goes according to plan.

Cooling Off

Murderface loves playing in water, Jasper does not. However, they both like to stay cool and hydrated by eating ice cubes.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday {June 16}

It's been a great weekend, the week itself dragged by kind of slow but the weekend kept me busy with photo shoots and bbq pool parties with friends. It's 2:30 here and I just got home from hanging out with friends by the pool... Man I love summer!

Before I go to bed, here are my interpretations for this weeks scavenger hunt. I'm missing two prompts since I really have nothing to fill in those slots this time..

First SHS of June! This week was an open hunt, all photos were the photographer's choice. So here are my favorite five photos of the week.

I took this pic of Stealth during my Tulsa trip but just got around to editing it this week.

This flower stem is completely covered in spider webs. Located right outside my window. Lucky me.

My mom has three ducks that she raised by hand. She had more but as they are all male, it wasn't working out so she gave them to a friend.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday {May 12}

I was almost positive that I wouldn't make this week's hunt but I managed to (mostly) get everything!

Perspective

I love this shot I took in my 3 month session last week. 

Golden

We took the dogs for a walk yesterday afternoon, during the golden hour. Jasper is enjoying his time with dad!

We went downtown to the Arts District to get a few shots of my boyfriend. He's putting together a music page and needed some professional photos, of course I'm more than willing to help him out!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday {May 5th}

I almost didn't participate this week. The horse show was yesterday and it was fun but totally exhausting, I have over 2,000 images to process! I also had a session with the sweetest 3 month old on Friday so my work's cut out for me. However I did just take a walk in my neighborhood park and met the cutest little girl (that quite reminded me of myself when I was her age) which totally inspired me and so here we are.

Weather

The little girl's dad was flying a kite when I was in the park. She had lost interest and went looking for bugs but he was determined to get that kite going. It's super cloudy and windy today so he was pretty successful.

Motion

Of course a horse show picture was going to end up here. Shame on you for thinking otherwise! This was during one of the first walk/trot classes of the day. 

Sweet

This is Austin, the little girl in the park I made friends with today. She asked me if I had a best friend, I told her I did. She said, "Well we are best friends now." So that's that apparently.
